About Us

We are really “Me” at the moment. I hope someday to be large enough to be a “We” but for now, it’s just me. I am a 54 year old wife, mother and grandmother.

I have lived in Rhode Island for the past 14 years. I am originally from Maine. I came to RI to work and have been here since.

Around June of 2007 I was diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension. I knew I had emphysema years ago and now it has progressed to this. Well that put quite a crunch in my life. So now, after 11 months of tests, doctors, two hospitalizations and approximately 275 days of not smoking, I need to get on with my life.

Since I have been diagnosed, I have had to leave my position at the local housing authority and stay home. My disease has ganged up on my body, but my brain is still functioning and it is too early to throw in the towel and turn into a total couch potato. I love my computer and I love learning so I decided to put both into the mix and see what I could do that was useful.

This site is what I came up with. A place where anyone can come, send me an email and I will work out a plan for you. I will be your ears and your eyes, your go-to gal.
